How To Get Here:
We are situated in the village of Melling (across the road from the village hall) on the A683 between Lancaster and Kirkby Lonsdale; only two miles from Yorkshire and six miles from Cumbria. Local public transport is limited.
By Rail: our nearest railway stations are:
Wennington (2 miles); Carnforth (6 miles); Lancaster (11 miles)
Some of these stations do have limited services and access to taxis.
By Bus: the 81b service runs from Lancaster
By Car:
From the South – take junction 34 (M6) – towards Kirkby Lonsdale on the A683; passing through the villages of Caton, Claughton and Hornby you will reach the village of Melling (after approximately 20 minutes), the studios are on the right hand side, just after the village green.
From the North – take junction 36 (M6) – towards Kirkby Lonsdale and Settle on the A65, pass by Kirkby Lonsdale and take the first right hand turn after the Devil’s bridge onto the A683 towards Lancaster – having passed through the villages of Burrow and Tunstall – after approximately 5 miles you will reach the village of Melling, the studios are on the left hand side, just after the church and the village hall.
Parking: we have some parking available around the property and more may be available at the village hall across the road or within the village.
